Although it was born some years before, the Choir of Our Lady of the Aliseda of Cumbres de San Bartolomé made its first performance in 1994.

Coro Nuestra Sñra de la Aliseda

This choir, like the others, is nourished in large part by one of the most influential and well-known groups of the moment: Raya Real. Their cheerful popurrís of sevillanas that still today are remembered and rumbas as the one of the Bamboleo becomes very well-known and practically all imitate that alternation of voices of men and of women. Thus, those first repertoires practically consist of popurrís of sevillanas, but they have also dared with more difficult and complicated palos such as fandangos or colombianas, always depending on the voices that at that moment make up the choir.

Later, songs were added to various voices and including greats such as Los Romeros de la Puebla, Marismeños, Amigos de Gines, María de la Colina, the choirs of the Hermandad del Rocío and the Hermandad de Emigrantes de Huelva, Flor de Jara de La Zarza, … and a host of groups with the aim of always making repertoires enjoyable for the viewer.

The fact that the majority of its members and its director had to leave their town to study or work made the choir stop functioning for a few years and only got together to sing the local pilgrimage mass. However, three years ago, and thanks to the insistence of a member of the choir, they decided to resume the repertoire of performances.

Throughout their history, they have performed in Aracena, Cumbres de Enmedio, Cumbres Mayores, Cañaveral de León, Huelva, Zafra, Jerez de los Caballeros, Fregenal de la Sierra, Madrid,… or even towns in Portugal.
