The Coro Rociero Azabache is a group of 14 members that was born in 2008 under the direction of Cristofer Gastón Melgarejo, in the city of Badajoz.
Since then, it has not stopped growing musically, and has been spreading its joy throughout the community of Extremadura and other corners of Spain, delighting the audience with a wide variety of songs ranging from the most popular rocieras songs to the most current ones. They even cover the best-known songs by different artists and musical genres.
In this way, in 2016 they participated in the First National Contest of Rociero Choirs, obtaining a well-deserved first place that consolidates them as the best and most representative group of the moment, in their genre. A success and a safe bet in any celebration.
