Diván du Don was formed in 2014 as an evolution of the group “El Desván del Duende”. Hailing from Extremadura and Andalusia, they combine a fusion of rumba mestiza with influences ranging from flamenco and folk to pop, rock, reggae and contemporary sounds, thus offering a vibrant and authentic style.
With over 900 concerts under their belt since their inception, and always performing their most iconic songs such as ‘Macetas de Colores’ and ‘Nudo Marinero’, they have appeared at festivals including Arenal Sound, Viña Rock, Extremúsika and WOMAD. To date, they have amassed over 30 million streams on Spotify.
Their debut album (Las Cositas Claras, 2015) featured the hit Vuelo, which was chosen as the closing theme tune for the radio programme El Partido de las 12 for an entire season. In 2016, they released the single Morena de la Madrugá alongside their fellow Andalusian artist Huecco. The album also featured collaborations with El Canijo de Jerez, Aslándticos and D’Callaos.
In 2019, they released their second album, Malabares, produced by Pedro Pimentel. This featured tracks such as Va a salir el Sol with Poncho K, Remolino and Conchitas y Arena. Furthermore, during the pandemic, they released No pares de cantar, an optimistic and uplifting song composed and produced exclusively for those difficult times of lockdown.
After a brief hiatus, they returned in 2024 with UMAMI, their latest album. It comprises 10 light-hearted and energetic tracks, produced once again by Pedro Pimentel, and gave rise to the Glutamatour tour, with which they are performing in various towns and cities across the country, such as Madrid, Seville, Badajoz and Cáceres.
The single ‘Tú me sabes bien’, featured on UMAMI, became the official anthem of the Badajoz Provincial Council.
The Glutamatour continues into 2025, backed by their latest album; classics from Diván du Don and El Desván del Duende; and a live performance that captivates the audience.
And right now, Diván du Don are presenting the “Macetas de Colores” Tour to mark their 20th anniversary, with a contemporary live show that pays homage to the essence that has defined them, from their past anthems to their current hits.
