Since its creation in 1986, the group has successfully performed Turkish folklore at home and abroad.
Its repertoire includes dances belonging to all regions of Turkey. Some of the regions are: Kırklareli, Bursa, Bilecik, Adıyaman, Hakkari, Artvin, Bolu, Trabzon, Gaziantep, Mardin, Burdur…
The group has won 6 times the first prize, 3 times the second prize and 6 times the third prize in folk dance competitions held in Turkey between 1989 and 2013.
The group is teaching young people, both theoretically and practically, with the best teachers and musicians in an altruistic way. It has a core group of around 60 dancers and a musical corps consisting of 20 instruments and 30 choristers.
The group has participated in many festivals visiting countries such as Spain, Japan, Singapore, Andorra, Romania, Sweden, France, Norway, Germany, Greece, China and Portugal.
