Mansaborá Folk

Mansaborá Folk was born in the city of Cáceres in 2005 with the sole intention of spreading the traditional culture of Extremadura. With more than three hundred and fifty concerts they have toured the entire community of Extremadura, as well as a good part of the country, achieving great success in all their performances. They have participated in prestigious festivals such as Folk Plasencia (2006 and 2010), Parapanda Folk (Granada) or the Iberian Folk Festival of Viseu (Portugal). Mansaborá has become one of the references of folk music in the region and one of the most requested groups in the folk scene of the country, having taken the music of our land among other places in Salamanca, Ávila, Huelva, Cádiz, Guipúzcoa, Vizcaya, Barcelona, Guadalajara, Madrid…

For 2020 Mansaborá Folk created a new show called “16 YEARS OF MUSIC” to commemorate the SIXTEEN years that this veteran group has been touring the stages of Extremadura and most of Spain. In this 90-minute concert, songs from the band’s beginnings that were never recorded on their albums will be remembered, and which have been revisited and reinterpreted to bring them back to the stage with new airs and graces. Songs that in recent years were not part of the repertoire are also revisited and are reborn for what they were created for: to entertain and thrill the audience, mixing memories, emotions and anecdotes of these years. Finally, there are new songs from the new album released in 2020.
