With a career spanning thirty-five years without interruption, the Valladolid-based band TRIQUEL stands as one of the leading lights of Celtic rock in Spain, keeping intact its essence, which fuses the power of rock with the ancestral magic of Celtic music. Their sound combines energetic guitars, bagpipes and whistles that evoke ancient legends, violins that dance through festive melodies, and lyrics that alternate between humour, social commentary and emotion.
Their powerful and festive live performances, with songs that come to life at every gig, have taken them all across Spain – from north to south, east to west – and parts of Europe, sharing the stage with and learning from legends such as Gwendal, Luar na Lubre, The Chieftains, Wolfstone, Celtas Cortos, Hevia, Kiko Veneno and Carlos Núñez.
In 2026, TRIQUEL will embark on a special tour, revisiting their most successful compositions from their early days alongside tracks from their eagerly awaited new album.
