Among his many accolades, Carlos has been crowned Extremadura Sommelier Champion and was a semi-finalist in the competition for Spain’s Best Sommelier. He is also a lecturer at the European School of Wine, Vice-President of the Extremadura Sommeliers’ Association, and an official member of the tasting panel for the Ribera del Guadiana Designation of Origin.
A founding partner of Vsentidos Catas, the company with which he will be attending this 44th edition of the Sierra International Festival, Carlos will be hosting both a tasting of local wines and a tasting of spirits from Extremadura.
